Clean out .deb package cache

The debian packages are typically in /var/cache/apt/archives, ready to be used for a reinstallation.

If you are short on space, you can safely delete these:

sudo apt-get clean

To delete only unusedĀ  .deb package files (deinstalled, older versions etc) use:

sudo apt-get autoclean

To delete orphaned packagesĀ  (which aren’t required or used), use:
